Reikart House Buffalo, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel - Amherst

Nice place with free wi-fi, a bar/lounge area, and a fitness center. The staff helped me find great places to visit during my first stay. I'm coming back for Christmas!

Appreciated Amherst, the hotel was fancy in the suburban area. My room included climate control, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and an electronic key card. The service offered was attentive. Had no problem using their convenient parking, the internet was free. The location of the venue was central, close enough to the airport and major shopping locations and the adjoining restaurant called Sonoma Grill.

The service was great, that made the hotel great modern and fancy place. Liked beautifully maintained room with 2 double beds, wouldn't mind staying there all day.

The hallways could use a serious refresh. The carpets have an old smell that lingers. Keys instead of key cards can feel a bit dated and insecure, leaving you a touch uneasy as you navigate the halls. The breakfast is pretty basic-think mediocre coffee in thermoses and more of a quick grab than a dining experience, which might not sit right if you're after something more upscale.

The room curtains had moth holes in them

The service provided by the receptionist. She was polite ,humble and courteous. Breakfast was good too.

The floor equipped with non smoking room -should be 100% smoke -free, because one smoker staying next to the non -smokers is enough to ruin the whole environment. We booked non-smoking room but as soon as we entered the hallway of the 2nd floor it was suffocating and even the room was stinking. We carried this odour back home in our siutcase and clothes. Otherwise I could mark my comfort to excellent!

The king room was super comfy, better than a westin bed. Loved that we could easily get on and off the thruway. The staff at the front desk were fantastic, and having free parking was a huge plus.

Good location, room was clean. Good value for money.

Did not feel safe. Both key holes on my door (inside motel) had been tampered with which made me feel unsafe. I had pressed the inside (button) lock on both doors (inside and outside doors) as the note on the door suggested for more security and the following day when I returned to my room there was a note from maintenance asking me not to do that. I have travelled solo many times but this made me feel unsafe.

Hotel staff were friendly & accomodating. The room was clean. The highway was very close to the hotel so I could get to my shopping locations within minutes. A very convenient location. A Tim Hortons 2 blocks away what more could I ask for.

Breakfast was disappointing. Hair in my plate.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent value. Nice complimentary continental breakfast. Facilities not luxurious, but comfortable - my kind of place!

What a disaster of a stay. I found hair in my breakfast and the, maintenance forgot how to unlock doors, leaving me stranded. For $500 per night, i expected at least a complimentary cookie or something, but alas, i was just treated like any other guest. I almost thought i'd leave a good review, but just couldn't.

Price, breakfast, location are good.

Would definitely recommend for a city break

Comfortable bed, attentive staff, our stay was improved with the fantastic free parking for our rental car and the well-maintained outdoor pool area that we enjoyed during warm weather.
